Warranty Terms
These Warranty Terms describe the general conditions of the Reynborg warranty.
The warrantor is The Reinholz Company GmbH, Mühlenstr. 8a, 14167 Berlin, Germany.
The Reinholz Company GmbH grants a warranty of two (2) years from the date of issue of the proof of purchase for your purchased Reynborg piece in accordance with these Warranty Terms. If you have a Reynborg customer account, the warranty is extended to ten (10) years from the date of issue of the proof of purchase. Create your free customer account here. Use the same email address for your customer account and warranty registration so we can match them reliably.
The Reynborg warranty covers material defects and production defects that already existed when the purchased item was delivered by The Reinholz Company GmbH. The geographical scope of warranty coverage is worldwide.
You can register your Reynborg piece directly after purchase using our Warranty Registration. Enter the purchase details and information about the piece.
To make a warranty claim, contact us through our contact page or email hello@reynborg.com and describe the defect. Include the details of your warranty registration. We reserve the right to request valid proof of purchase when assessing a warranty claim, such as a photo or scan of the receipt, invoice, or similar document. For a retail purchase, we may also request the warranty card signed by the retailer.
A prerequisite for warranty service is that you allow us to examine the warranty claim, for example by presenting or sending in the piece. Any shipping costs incurred when sending the item to us will not be reimbursed.
During the validity period of this warranty, we will repair any defect covered by the warranty after reviewing the required information and supporting documents free of charge. We reserve the right to replace a defective piece with a new one with identical or similar characteristics if repair proves unsuitable or impossible.
Return shipping and repair or replacement are free of charge. A repair or replacement does not extend the duration of the original warranty.
Excluded from this warranty are:
- Normal wear and tear from wearing and aging, for example scratches in stainless steel, changes in color and/or material of non-metallic elements, or peeling gold plating;
- Damage resulting from improper handling, for example washing in a washing machine, use of force, do-it-yourself repairs, lack of care, or accidents.
Further claims, for example for damages not covered by the above warranty, against The Reinholz Company GmbH are excluded.
The Reynborg warranty does not affect or restrict the customer’s statutory warranty rights; it extends them.
